Transform your outdoor space effortlessly with our comprehensive installation service for InstaShade Parasols. Designed specifically for in-ground bases, our installation eliminates the need for a freestanding base. Our inclusive package comprises delivery, concrete coring, and seamless installation of your parasol(s).
For standard colours, installation can be arranged within 5-10 days of your order. For non-standard orders, expect installation within 4-6 weeks, depending on your chosen colours and branding (if applicable).
Our nationwide installation service comes with transparent pricing, covering all taxes and fees. Benefit from the added security of a built-in base, particularly recommended for our Eclipse and Nova parasols, renowned for their substantial weight.

1. Nova Large Freestanding Base

Our strong and durable Nova and Eclipse freestanding base with aluminium cover. Designed to work with our Nova or larger Eclipse models, is perfect when a more permanent installation is not possible. Simple to use, the cross base can be loaded with 45cm x 45cm x 5cm paving slabs (not included)
Please note, due to the size of this base, it is not something that is easily moved. If you need a movable base please look at the smaller Aurora/Eclipse freestanding base with wheels (not applicable for the Nova range). |
2. Nova Seated Base Box |
Our bespoke Nova base box is the perfect option for commercial environments when the parasols can be easily relocated with wheels attached to the base and where an installation cannot take place. The frame is bespoke manufactured and clad in wood, which can be painted to your requirements. The base box comes as standard with a cushion, allowing the base to be utilised, with no wasted space. The base box is extremely secure, and can be loaded with paving slabs for additional weight (recommend 300kg minimum). Paving slabs are not included. Upon order we will make contact to discuss colours for paint and the cushion. Lead time is around 2-3 weeks from order. |

6. Barrel Extension

The Barrel extension is used to raise a cantilever umbrella out of dirt, sand or tan bark so it doesn’t cause any damage to the rotating mechanism or just to give some extra height to the parasol if needed. It is 200mm high and 215mm in diameter, and is black powder coated steel. The Barrel extension is designed to be bolted to an in-ground sleeve or base plate. Bespoke sizes can be manufactured if needed. |

Tailored Process for Bespoke Products and Custom Printing
When ordering our Custom Printing Services and/or Bespoke Products, the following terms apply:
- Prior to placing an order, provide us with the required dimensions and descriptions for any Bespoke Products and/or Custom Printing Services.
- After order acceptance, promptly provide us with all relevant artwork, wording, and Customer Marks for the Custom Printing Services and/or Bespoke Products.
- We will create a digital image of the Bespoke Product, including any text, graphics, or Customer Marks ("Design") and provide a Specification for your review and approval.
- Review and sign off on the Design and Specification, ensuring accurate spelling of all wording to be displayed on banners or products.
- Any spelling errors detected after approval will incur correction costs unless the error is our responsibility.
Colour Considerations
Artwork for the Design is printed using CMYK colour space. If you have specific colour preferences, provide Pantone references or CMYK colour details. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match without a colour swatch test print. Colour variations may occur based on printers and substrates used.
Cancellation and Changes
Once you've received the Order Confirmation, no changes or cancellations are allowed for Bespoke Products unless explicitly agreed upon in writing by Home Living Luxury.
Your Right to Change Your Mind
For most products, you have the right to change your mind and receive a refund, including delivery costs, subject to certain conditions.
You cannot change your mind about products sealed for health protection, personalised or bespoke items, or items that have been mixed with other items after delivery.
The deadline for changing your mind is within 14 days of receiving the product, starting from the day after the last delivery if your purchase is split into multiple deliveries.

Installation Works
If you opt for Installation Works, our trusted partner InstaShade will ensure a smooth installation experience as outlined in the Installation Works Schedule.
Supply of Services
We are committed to delivering exceptional service. We will provide the Services according to the following principles:
- Adherence to the Installation Works Schedule as specified in your Order.
- Alignment with the Design, ensuring its integrity and essence.
- While we strive to meet performance dates as estimated in your Order, please note that these dates are estimations and not binding deadlines
- If needed, InstaShade reserves the right to modify the Installation Works Schedule and/or Design, provided such changes do not significantly impact the quality or nature of the Services. We will promptly communicate any such amendments to you.
Rest assured, we guarantee that the Services will be executed with reasonable care and skill.
Your Responsibilities
In order to facilitate a successful installation process, we kindly request your cooperation with the following:
- Questionnaire Completion: Complete and return the Questionnaire promptly after accepting your Order. This step ensures all necessary details are in place prior to installation.
- Order and Information Accuracy: Ensure that the Order terms and any information shared in the Questionnaire or related to the Design/Specification are accurate and comprehensive.
- Cooperation: Work closely with Home Living Luxury on all matters related to the Services, ensuring a collaborative approach.
- Change Requests: If you wish to modify delivery dates, quantities, types of Products/Services, or the Design/Specification, kindly inform us. Please note that such changes may impact the overall timeline.
- Timely and Accurate Information: Provide accurate and timely instructions and information to prevent any delays or inaccuracies in the installation process.
Installed Products and Cancellation
If you purchase a product with installation services and decide to cancel within the 14-day period, please note the following:
- If the installed product is not defective or faulty, any damage caused during removal from your property is not our responsibility.
- If you choose to cancel an installed product, you have two options:
- Remove the product yourself at your own cost and return it to us.
- Request an uninstallation and collection service from us, subject to a charge. The specific charges will depend on the product, location and/or installation type.
Installation Beyond UK Mainland
While we offer installation across the UK mainland, we are also open to exploring installation options for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland if required. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.

InstaShade Parasol Warranties
Our Eclipse, Aurora, and Nova parasols have specific warranties covering faulty materials and workmanship, excluding wind damage, fair wear and tear, accidents, and misuse.
Recasens Fabrics Warranty
Recasens fabrics come with a 10-year residential (5-year commercial) warranty covering rot and colour fading in normal use.
This Warranty Policy aims to provide clarity and assurance. Please refer to the Documentation for specific details on different products.
Fabric Warranty Terms
- Our acrylic fabrics are guaranteed against rot or significant loss of strength due to normal usage and exposure conditions.
- Wind/weather-related damage, misuse, burns, negligence, vandalism, pollution stains, and colour loss are not covered.
Product Warranties
Standard Warranty
For a period of 12 months from the date of manufacture (Warranty Period), the Products shall:
- Conform with their description in the Documentation and applicable Specification for Bespoke Products.
- Be free from material defects in design, material, and workmanship.
- Be fit for the purpose advertised by Home Living Luxury
This warranty excludes damage caused by weather or misuse.
Additional Warranties
InstaShade may offer extended Warranty Periods and additional warranties for specific Bespoke Products, such as Canopro Elite and InstaShade Parasols. Refer to the Documentation for details.
Product Specifics
- Our pergolas provide excellent coverage, protection, and privacy. Minor water ingress may occur due to the roof design and windy conditions.
- Our parasol fabric is waterproof, but in windy conditions, minimal water ingress through the air vent is possible.
- Photographic evidence of the fault/defect may be required before a replacement is issued.
Acceptance and Defective Items
- If you receive any defective Products, you have the right to reject them. Please take photographic evidence and provide this to Home Living Luxury as soon as possible. Refer to our Shipping Policy for more information.
- Please note that the product warranties are void if the Products are subsequently sold second-hand to a third party.
Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, follow these steps:
- Notify Home Living Luxury in writing (email) during the Warranty Period upon discovering a non-compliance with the warranty.
- Provide InstaShade the opportunity to inspect the Products.
- If requested, return the Products to InstaShade's place of business at your cost (we can provide additional information).
- InstaShade will then, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective Products.
Exclusions from Warranty
Neither Home Living Luxury nor InstaShade are liable for warranty breaches if:
- You continue using the Products after notifying Home Living Luxury of a defect.
- The defect arises from improper storage, installation, commissioning, use, or maintenance.
- You alter or repair the Products without Home Living Luxury's written consent.
- The defect results from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal conditions.
- Products are altered to comply with statutory or regulatory requirements.

Shipping Costs
We offer free shipping to UK mainland addresses. For Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, and Channel Islands, shipping costs will be tailored to each order.
Non-Customised Items:
We aim to get your non-customised items to you fast! Our team works hard to process and ship these items within 3-5 working days from your purchase date. After you've successfully placed your order and payment is confirmed, we'll take care of carefully packaging and sending out your items. As soon as your order is on its way, you'll receive an email with all the tracking info you need. Please keep in mind that delivery might take a bit longer on weekends and public holidays.
Customised Items:
Creating something special just for you takes a little more time. When you order custom items tailored to your unique preferences, we kindly ask for your patience. Please allow us 4 weeks to work our magic and craft your personalised piece. Our skilled artisans and craftsmen put their heart and soul into every detail to make sure your custom item is top-notch. Once it's ready, we won't waste a moment – we'll ship it right to your doorstep. We truly understand the value of personalised items and are dedicated to exceeding your expectations.
Lead Time and Delays
All lead times are estimates. While we strive to adhere to our dates, external factors beyond our control may cause delays. In such cases, bespoke work cannot be cancelled.
Order Tracking:
Stay in the loop with our order tracking service! As soon as your order is fulfilled and on its way, we'll send you an email packed with tracking details. This way, you can easily keep an eye on your delivery's progress and plan for its arrival.
Delivery of Products
- With every delivery, InstaShade will provide a delivery note containing the Order date, relevant reference numbers, type and quantity of Products, Documentation, and any special storage instructions. If the Order is delivered in parts, the note will also display the remaining balance of outstanding Products.
- The Products will be delivered to the Delivery Location mentioned in the Order or another location agreed upon by both parties.
- Completion of unloading at the Delivery Location marks the completion of product delivery. Necessary Installation Works will be conducted promptly after delivery, unless otherwise specified by InstaShade. Should Installation Works not be included, the Customer assumes responsibility for post-delivery assembly, installation, erection, and packaging disposal.
- Delivery and Installation Work dates are approximations. The precise delivery time is not crucial. Delays resulting from a Force Majeure Event, third-party courier issues, or insufficient delivery instructions from the Customer will not make Surf Turf liable.
- In cases of multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts, the Customer may be subject to additional charges for storage and re-delivery.
Partial Deliveries
- For large / bulk orders, we try to fulfill the complete order at the same time. However, it is possible that we may need to deliver across two or more instalments. InstaShade reserves the right to deliver Products in instalments.
- For large / bulk orders, multiple shipping quotes may be required (this will be clearly communicated upon large / bulk orders - if applicable).
- A delay or defect in one instalment does not entitle the Customer to cancel other instalments.
International Deliveries

Acceptance and Defective Items
If you receive defective Products, you have the right to reject them.
Upon receiving your item(s), please inspect the packaging for any damage. If you notice any damage, make a note of it when signing for delivery. In case of damage, please send photos of the damaged item(s), packaging, and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage, to sales@homelivingluxury.com. For freight damage, please submit photos and videos within 24 hours of arrival. Any punctures or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours.
Your Right to Change Your Mind
You have a legal right to change your mind about most products within 14 days of receiving them. This right does not apply to products:
- Sealed for health or hygiene purposes, if unsealed after receipt.
- Made to your specifications, personalized, or bespoke printed.
- That have become inseparable from other items after delivery.
- Produced or manufactured specifically for your order, including Heatsail items and customized Nova Parasols.
- With non-standard colours ordered for your specific order.
Changing Your Mind Deadline
To exercise your right to change your mind, please notify us within 14 days from the day you receive the product. If delivered in multiple parts, the period starts after the last delivery.
Returning Products
To initiate a return, contact our customer service team. You are responsible for returning the product within 14 days of informing us about your decision to return. Return costs are at your expense. Ensure secure packaging and retain proof of delivery.
Refund Process
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned product or evidence of its return. Refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
Bespoke, Printed, or Personalised Items
Items clearly manufactured to your specifications or personalised/branded cannot be returned.
Products with Installation Works
If you change your mind about a product installed per your specifications within the 14-day deadline, you can:
