From the outside, the sloped roof descends from left to right, creating a one-of-a-kind silhouette that sets it apart. The pod also features charming circular windows, adding a whimsical touch, and its fully curved side walls form semi-circles at both ends, resembling an entrance to a hidden world.

The "Grotto" is more than just eye-catching. Inside, the quirky design continues with sloping ceilings and curved walls, giving it a cosy yet spacious feel that defies expectations. Despite its compact footprint, the pod boasts a generous internal area of 5.6m², offering ample room for multiple creative layouts and configurations.

A Warm and Inviting Exterior

From the outside, double French-style doors welcome you into the pod, flanked by elegant dual exterior lights casting a soft, warm glow that beautifully highlights the rustic oak-painted exterior. The sleek black shingles complete the look, while the signature circular window on the back wall adds a playful yet sophisticated touch.

Thoughtfully Designed Interior Layout

Inside, the pod feels surprisingly spacious, with thoughtfully arranged sleeping areas to ensure comfort and convenience. A double bed is nestled to the right, while a single bed sits to the left, tucked smartly beneath high shelves designed for easy storage of personal belongings. In the centre, a stylish chest of drawers provides additional storage, catering perfectly to longer stays.

Ambient LED Lighting for a Cosy Atmosphere

One of the standout features is its ambient LED lighting, which casts a warm, inviting aura throughout. Strips of LED lights glow softly under the beds, beneath the high shelves, and down the centre of the ceiling, giving the pod a cosy yet modern feel that enhances every corner.

Alternative Layout 1: Bunk & Bar Configuration

In this innovative layout for the 3 person Grotto Pod, we’ve crafted a space-efficient design that combines comfort and functionality. French doors welcome guests into a bright, inviting pod, allowing natural light to flood the interior. This time, the beds are arranged on the right-hand side, with a double bed below and a single bed above in a convenient bunk style. Thoughtfully positioned, there’s even space for a bedside shelf beside the double bed, tucked neatly behind the steps leading up to the single bunk.

The left side of the pod is entirely open, outfitted with shelving and cupboards that cater to storage and small kitchen essentials. Here, guests can enjoy amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle, all within reach. Plus, there’s enough room for a compact bar setup with seating—perfect for enjoying meals or relaxing with a drink.

At the back, the large circular window invites even more natural light, creating an airy atmosphere and offering beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. This layout is ideal for small families or couples looking for both comfort and a touch of luxury in their glamping experience.

Alternative Layout 2: Bunk and Bar Configuration

Similar in essence to our first alternative layout, this version of the Grotto Pod maximises space with a smart, reversed layout. Enter through the double French doors, where ample natural light fills the pod, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. In this setup, the bunk bed arrangement is placed on the left-hand side, with a single bed positioned above a double bed, cleverly utilising vertical space to maintain comfort and efficiency.

The right side remains fully open, adding to the pod’s spacious feel and allowing for flexible use. With built-in cupboards and shelving, this side can accommodate a small kitchen setup, additional storage, or even a custom bar area, giving guests plenty of room to relax.

At the back, the large circular window continues to enhance the ambiance, letting in natural light and offering picturesque views. Also ideal for small families or couples, this layout mirrors the appeal of the first alternative with a reversed twist.

Alternative Layout 3: Divided Living Space

Alternative Layout 3 introduces a fresh approach to the 3-person configuration. Unlike the previous layouts, this design features a single, centrally positioned door in place of the French doors, allowing for two large front windows to flood the pod with natural light and maximise the wall space inside.

As you step in, the pod is divided into two functional sections. On the left, a single bed is nestled against the back wall, accompanied by a multi-functional table that extends from the front to the side wall—perfect for small appliances like a kettle or toaster. With space for a mini fridge tucked underneath, this setup offers convenient options for guests to prepare light meals or snacks.

To the right, a double bed creates a restful space for parents, ensuring comfort and privacy within a compact layout. Both beds enjoy unobstructed views through the front windows, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the scenic surroundings while enjoying a peaceful morning coffee in bed.
